David Cole

David Cole is an attorney, specializing in adoption and assisted reproduction. From 1987 through 1993, Mr. Cole represented Dallas County Child Protective Services in suits affecting the parent-child relationship. Following that, Mr. Cole handled the civil prosecution of every case investigated through the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center.

Mr. Cole is a member of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys; a national organization devoted to the ethical and competent representation of parties in adoption and assisted reproduction matters. Mr. Cole was a charter member of the Dallas County Child Death Review Team and served on the Governor's Adoption Initiatives Task Force. He is a former board member of the Texas Association for Infant Mental Health and the Dallas Family Connection and, in 1995, was awarded the American Bar Association's Child Advocacy Award.

A recipient of the Dean's Merit Scholarship Award, Mr. Cole graduated from Pepperdine School of Law in Malibu, California and received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Cole is not board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
 
 
Kris Miller – Adoption Services

Kris Miller is a Professional Counselor licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors, specializing in adoption

From 1991 through 2000, Ms. Miller was employed by the Dallas County Child Protective Services Unit of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. as a caseworker providing services to children victimized by abuse and neglect. She supervised social workers responsible for providing rehabilitative services to families and support services to children. Ms. Miller also served on the Regional Advisory Committee for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and facilitated a group treatment program for sexually abused children.

Ms. Miller received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Counselor Education from the University of North Texas. Ms. Miller became certified as a Licensed Professional Counselor in 1998, and is a member of the American Counseling Association and a former member of the Texas Association of Infant Mental Health.
 
 
Kerry Parrish – Adoption Services

Kerry Parrish is a Licensed Master Social Worker licensed by the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners.

From 1989 to 2001, Ms. Parrish was employed by the Dallas County Child Protective Services Unit of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. Ms. Parrish worked as a child protective services caseworker for eight years serving abused and neglected children. Ms. Parrish worked as the Community Services Coordinator for Community Partners, a public private partnership connecting volunteers with appropriate volunteer opportunities within Child Protective Services. While there, she served on the Placement and Adoption Committee and the Speakers Bureau.

Ms. Parrish received a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University. She received her Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. She became a Licensed Master of Social Work in 1998, and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.

Jennifer Cole
Jennifer Kiphart Cole – Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Services

Jennifer Kiphart Cole is a Professional Counselor licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors currently specializing in matters related to adoption and assisted reproduction.

From 1992 to 1996, Ms. Cole was employed by the Dallas County Child Protective Services Unit of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services as a child protective services caseworker serving abused and neglected children. In 1997 and 1998, while working at Bryan’s House, she provided individual play therapy to HIV infected children and started children’s groups for self-esteem development and drug awareness. Ms. Cole facilitated a social skills group for children with sensory integration disorders and a parent support group for the Richardson Development Center from 1998 to 2000.

Ms. Cole received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas A&M University, and received her Master of Arts in Counseling from Amber University. Ms. Cole became certified as a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2000, and is a member of the American Counseling Association.
 
 
Jami Taillac – Assisted Reproduction Services

Jami Taillac is the assisted reproduction coordinator for the Law Office of David C. Cole, P.C. and Little Flower Assisted Reproduction Services. She works with our clients from initial intake through delivery. She also facilitates egg donor agreements and assists with the donation process. Ms. Taillac is a veteran of the Surrogate Parenting Center of Texas, the first full service surrogacy and egg donation center in Texas. Ms. Taillac is knowledgeable in the various reproductive technologies and is also a skilled presenter on legal and social issues on the topic of assisted reproduction.

 
 
Amanda Warren – Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Services

Amanda Warren is an attorney in the private practice of law, specializing in matters relating to adoption and assisted reproduction. She is also a practicing mediator in family law issues.

A recipient of the Mary Wright Presidential Scholarship, she graduated from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. She graduated from Texas Tech in 2003 and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in November 2004. While attending Texas Tech University School of Law, Ms. Warren interned at the Center for Aging Law and Policy. She also volunteered at the Lubbock Rape Crisis Center, served as an academic mentor to undergraduate students, and served on the Board of Directors for the National Women Law Student Association. Ms. Warren is not board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
 
 
Rachael Rivera – Adoption Services

Ms. Rivera is an adoption specialist with Little Flower. She attended the University of Central Oklahoma receiving a Bachelor of Science in Family Life Education with an emphasis in Child Development in May of 2006. She was a member of Phi Upsilon Omicron, a National Honor Society for Family and Consumer Sciences. She participated in various internships with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, Birth Choice of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Child Advocacy, and Calm Waters Family and Child Services. She has also provided group therapy for children and families affected by divorce or death.

 
 
Nicole Crites– Adoption Services

Nicole Crites is an adoption specialist with Little Flower since September 2006. She works with birth parents and adoptive parents as they work towards making their individual adoption plan. Nicole received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology May 2006 from Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kansas. While at Ottawa, Nicole was the director of Student Activities Force, a member of Kappa Tau Delta and was a Resident Advisor. Nicole is currently working on her master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas.
